Finney-Smith, who sat out last season after transferring from Virginia Tech, has not played yet this season for the Gators. He averaged 6.3 points and 7.0 rebounds during is freshman year at Virginia Tech. Of note is that Finney-Smith is apparently ill and might not play anyway.
It could have been worse for UALR. Donovan did not reinstate either 6-10 junior Damontre Harris or 6-2 senior Scottiie Wilbekin.
Without those three, Florida is 1-1 on the season after beating North Florida at home and losing on the road to Wisconsin.
